Cushman & Wakefield is the first real estate consultancy firm to back the development of the Greater Bay Area, following the announcement of the initiative in March 2017. Leveraging the expertise of more than 30 colleagues in their Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou offices, they took the lead in forming the GBA Business Platform which seeks greater internal coordination
in their GBA projects. They have organized two major public forums in 2017 and 2018 in the three key cities above to champion and explore the opportunities in city cluster development, industry transformation and property investment in the GBA, creating significant buzz in the real estate industry. Their four GBA reports thus far provide important insights into various topics such as infrastructures development, evolvement and coordination between industries, and a comparison between the GBA and other major bay areas abroad. As an expert in real estate issues, they appeared in more than 20 events organized by third parties which further promoted their professional views on the GBA development.
