HONG KONG, 2024-07-11 – The Zonta Club of Hong Kong East is pleased to announce the installation of its new board of directors for the 2024-2026 term. The installation ceremony, held on May 31, 2024, was a heartwarming celebration, with many sister Zontians from across the city in attendance to show their support.
“It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout at the installation ceremony,” said Angela Keung, the newly elected President of the Zonta Club of Hong Kong East. “We are excited to welcome our new board and look forward to their leadership in driving our club’s mission forward.”
The event was attended by 78 guests, including 22 official guests such as guest speaker Mr. Ricky Chu, Fomer Chairperson of Equal Opportunities Commission, Honorary Member Regina Ip, Convenor of the Executive Council, 5 Zonta Dignitaries, Ms Chen Tieying (陳鐵英) representatives from the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong SAR, 8 Zonta Club Presidents, 7 service partners, and 20 invited guests.
The new board of directors for the Zonta Club of Hong Kong East includes:

- 2nd Vice President & Corresponding Secretary: Rita Ku
- Recording Secretary: Diana Wong
- Treasurer: Simone Lee
- Ex-officio: Ti-Wei Chen
- Directors: Ada Yu, Lucy Wong, Dannie Hongchoy, Helen Li
- Committee Chairs: Ada Yu, Lucy Wong, Joyce Yu, Dannie Hongchoy, Betty Tsui, Maggie Koong, Helen Li, and Michelle Leung
The new board is committed to upholding the club’s core “ABC” principles: Advocating for gender equality, Building a better world for women and girls, and Collaborating with community partners to support the underserved. The club looks forward to launching more impactful projects and initiatives in the coming biennium.
