Thanks to the great effort and wonderful support of our membership committee and all members of Zonta Club Hong Kong East, we are honoured to be awarded the TOP 30 clubs for Tier III under the "Adding Your Voice" new members' recruitment campaign organized by Zonta International. New zontian recruitment is particularly important during an extremely challenging time when the world strives to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and the added challenges women and girls are facing as a result.
In the last 101 years, members of Zonta International came together across countries and continents to advocate for gender equality and an end to violence against women and girls. More than US$46.3 million was offered to empower women and girls and expand their access to education, health care, economic opportunities and safe living conditions.
好消息！有賴香港東區崇德社的會員委員會及全體會員的努力和支持，我們很榮幸在國際崇德社舉辦的“加強您的聲音”新會員招募活動中獲得了首30名社團（第三級別）獎項。在全球致力從2019新型冠狀病毒疫情中恢復過來的艱難時期，女性更面臨著更大的挑戰，而招募新的崇德社會員的工作尤為重要。
在過去的 101 年裡，國際崇德社的成員聚集各地的會員，全力倡導性別平等，並結束對婦女和女童的暴力行為。 國際崇德社提供超過 4,630 萬美元用於促進婦女和女童的權利，並提升她們獲得教育、醫療保健、經濟機會和安穩生活的機會。
