Women Relax Zone — a project jointly run with Yang Memorial for the underprivileged Nepalese women and their families to boost their confidence and to help them realize that they were not an isolated community. The women had access to usage of a flat which had been made into a zone for relaxation. Eight different activities were provided to 290 participants of 20 families at the zone: Yoga, cooking, coffee making and other different learning classes. Certificates were presented so that the women could make use of it to find jobs of different varieties. A three-day Open Day for the public and a cooking contest for the Nepalese ladies followed by a talk by a qualified dietician were held. The latter was taken as the service project for Zonta Day.
